Kathryn has many years of experience guiding clients through a structured format to facilitate resolution of disagreements. She maintains an atmosphere where each party can discuss their perspective while working towards a mutually agreeable solution. She brings a logical and creative approach to often difficult to resolve issues. Clients find the solutions they devise are more cost-effective and satisfying than those imposed by the courts.
Kathryn has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Mental Health and Counseling. She has met the professional standards to be a Human Services Board Certified Practitioner. She has received formal training and continues to pursue continuing education to maintain status as a qualified Professional Mediator. Kathryn is also trained in Community Group Conferencing. She also coaches new mediators at Colorado Free University.
Divorce and parenting-related concerns are commonly addressed in mediation. Given that, Kathryn has developed extensive expertise in pre- and post-decree divorce concerns. She teaches classes to new mediators and to the general public on “How to do a Divorce”.
Kathryn is a licensed general contractor and has specialized experience in resolving construction, real-estate, and HOA disputes. Additionally, she has successfully handled situations as diverse as EEOC discrimination work for the Federal government, embezzlement concerns, and many other types of mediation.
Kathryn has the ability to stay focused on solutions and works to quickly resolve issues. She is proficient in working with diverse populations. Kathryn welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with you in resolving your concerns.
